what are the best lasers?
Our Precision Lasers feature the ND:YAG, ideal for darker skin types, and the Alexandrite, perfect for lighter skin, ensuring safe, quick, and effective treatments. These are the top hair removal systems that customers consistently request.
how do lasers work?
Long Pulsed Laser Systems provide safe pulses directly to the targeted area, effectively cauterizing hair down to the root where the hair follicle resides. This process destroys the hair feeder, thereby preventing future growth.
Consistent treatments and adherence to your therapist's guidance will yield the quickest results. Factors such as hair thickness, skin color, hair color, and hormones influence each reduction. For hormonal areas, like the chin, ongoing treatments may be necessary to manage growth. Additionally, different areas may respond at varying rates. We personalise our approach for each client, and the exact number of sessions will be determined based on your individual response.

Preparing for Laser Hair Removal
For Optimal Results Before Your Appointments
**48 hours before your laser treatment:** Make sure to shave the areas so that the hair is even with your skin.
**Daily care:** Moisturise your skin consistently and drink plenty of water to keep both your body and skin well-hydrated.
**Avoid Sun Exposure without recommended 50 plus sunscreen.
Laser Hair Removal Aftercare
Clinical Recovery Gel must be used immedialtely after your Laser together with recommended 50 plus sunscreen. Lasered areas are more suseptable to sunburn and pigment if not carefully protected. Continue moisturising, avoid active skin products and exfoliants for 7 days.
Loofah can be used after 7 days to remove dead skin cells and encourage purging of hair. Most hair generally falls out for the first 3 weeks whilst new hair comes through ready for your next laser hair removal treatment.

Results vary between individuals depending on skin colour, hair colour, area, hormones and hair thickness. From studies, most people have a great reduction after 6 treatments. Depending on area, top up treatments are recomended and can vary between 3 months and a year.
-
Most people tolerate the sensation as the laser beam passes over the skin. The sensation has been reported as equivalent to an elastic band flicking the skin with some heat.
-
In order for the laser to succesfully absorb down the hair follicle, the hair on the treatment area must be shaved prior to the treatment or have less than 1.5mm of regrowth. Shaving should be done 24-48 hours prior to treatment for the best results.
