PRP Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy

PRP Platelet-Rich Plasma for Skin Rejuvenation, Hair Loss and Wound Healing

PRP Platelet-Rich Plasma

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a form of therapy that involves using a small volume of plasma with elevated platelet concentrations compared to normal blood levels. Initially designed for treating thrombocytopenia through transfusions, PRP has evolved to be recognized for its ability to accelerate wound healing and tissue regeneration due to the presence of various growth factors and cytokines. This has broadened its application across different medical fields, including sports medicine, regenerative medicine, and aesthetic medicine.

One popular application of PRP is in facial rejuvenation treatments, commonly referred to as "vampire facials." This procedure utilizes the patient's own blood to encourage collagen production and stimulate growth factors, resulting in younger, smoother, and healthier-looking skin. By combining microneedling or injections with plasma, PRP facial treatments offer a groundbreaking solution for addressing signs of aging or damage to the skin.

Moreover, PRP has shown promising results in the treatment of hair loss and thinning. Studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of PRP in promoting hair growth, making it a viable option for individuals looking to address hair-related concerns. The regenerative properties of PRP, attributed to its growth factors and cytokines, have paved the way for expanding its therapeutic potential beyond its original use in transfusion therapy.

Hifu - High Intensity Focused Ultrasound

Hands-On Laser - HIFU: Your Non-Surgical Cosmetic Solution

On the forefront of the beauty industry, HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) has quickly gained popularity as a sought-after non-surgical treatment worldwide. This innovative technology delivers concentrated ultrasound energy deep into the skin using a handheld device, without the need for invasive procedures.

Often referred to as the non-surgical facelift, HIFU stimulates cell renewal by heating skin tissue to boost collagen production. Collagen, crucial for skin elasticity, combats the effects of aging that lead to sagging skin. With gradual improvements in skin laxity over a few months, individuals can achieve a firmer, more lifted appearance for a rejuvenated look.

Recommended typically for 1-2 sessions, the number of treatments may vary depending on the skin's condition and age. HIFU isn't just limited to facial applications; it is also effective for body treatments such as the buttocks, thighs, stomach, and postpartum loose skin. Additionally, it targets areas like arms, neck, knees, and bra areas. It's important to note that body treatments are not advised for individuals with a BMI over 30, as this procedure complements, but does not address, weight issues.

Cryosurgery (Skin Tag + Lesion Removal)

Cryosurgery is utilised to permanently remove benign skin lesions such as warts and age spots on the face and body. It is also used to destroy annoying tags, millea, sebaceous cysts and more, without causing stress to the dermal tissue.

How safe is Cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy is relatively low-risk procedure. Dermapen Cryo delivers N2O directly to the lesion, and not the healthy surrounding tissue. Dermapen Cryo is both CE and FDA registered.

Is the treatment painful?

There will be a sensation similar to a ballpoint pen being pushed onto the skin when the nitrous oxide reaches the bottom of the lesion. There might be a little residual stinging for a few minutes after treatment. Occasionally a blister might form and persist for a few hours.

Will there be a follow up session?

A follow up visit is recomended after 2 to 4 weeks to confirm that all pathological tissue has dissapeared or if a follow up treatment is necessary.

Non-Surgical Eye-Lift Treatment

Incorporating Radio Frequency, Tightening and RF Fractional Resurfacing to lower and upper eye areas, resulting in a more firmer lifted younger looking skin. A natural alternative for ageing looking eyes for men and women. Best results are obtained in a package of 3-6 depending of the conditions and ageing of skin. A very popular treatment with outstanding results.

Is the treatment painful?

No, a slight warmth is felt and anaesthetic is not required.

Will I still need wrinkle injections?

It will depend on the severity of the lines, usually the middle brow frown still needs injections

How many treatments will I need?

We recommend a course of 3-6 treatments which are done 3 weeks apart. Results can be seen from the first treatment and will continue to improve up to 9 months after the last session.

LED pdt THERAPY

LED is a stand alone treatment or can be added to most treatments. Led stands for Light Emitted Diodes and can have a variety of different colours for the purpose of different skin conditions. Example, red is for collagen repair, pigmentation etc. Blue is for acne and yellow for inflammatory and wound healing conditions.

Both red and near-infrared lights treat the outer layer of skin and stimulate collagen proteins. The idea is that more collagen means smoother, fuller skin, i.e. less fine lines and wrinkles. Experts also say the red light reduces inflammation while improving circulation, which may give you a healthy glow over time.

Blue light makes oil glands less active, which may help reduce acne breakouts. And as Robinson points out, it can also kill acne-causing bacteria under the skin, which can help treat severe pimples like cysts and nodules.

Other research suggests that yellow LED therapy may be helpful for photoaging and as an adjuvant (supportive) therapy to laser treatment.

A very Safe treatment that can be purchased as an ad-on after intensive laser, micro needling, fractional resurfacing for a faster recovery or as a package of 8 to have twice weekly.

$75 per session or $40 as an ad-on or $479 for a pack of 8
